Here are some of my favorites to help you along too!.
Even if I try to pretend this little wall of hooks is just like my dream mudroom, it just doesn’t work.. And that’s just fine.Having this little area to put all of our ugly, brightly colored, real-life things really does make our lives easier.
For this point in our lives, if I’m looking for the perfect mudroom/drop zone/entryway all I need to remember is to keep it simple and keep it real.. And to not be ridiculous.I just love a good low-cost/no-cost DIY pillow solution to add a little cheer to my day. There are so many great ideas out there to turn unexpected things into pillows and I admit I may be developing a bit of an addiction to these easy crafty tricks.Place mat pillows?
I was all over that about two years ago.. Walmart flour sack pillows. There are so many worse things to be addicted to though!
OK, it depends on who you ask….. What I have here for you today is a new one that I haven’t seen anywhere yet, and I think it just may be my favorite so far….
These chair cushion things have been catching my eye all Summer at Superstore.I wanted something that would tuck neatly underneath to leave lots of room to move around, but that would visually take up a lot of space to hide as much of the ugly floor and walls and vent and everything..
I thought, “Hmm, if only I could find the perfect little stool, something plain that I could fix up.I wonder how long I’ll have to look through thrift stores until I find it?
If only I had such a stool already.Say, sitting around somewhere like an attic or a basement.
